We know that the British rule which started in the year 1757 lasted long years and the fight to attain our independence was long, difficult, and cost many brave lives. India achieved its freedom from the British on 15 August 1947. India celebrated its 75th Independence Day on 15 August 2021.
Snehagram celebrated Independence Day with much enthusiasm. We did have the march past in the morning and the guest of the day was Mr. Gopal Krishna, Sub-inspector of Veppinapalli who also hoisted the national flag. The day was packed with knowledge games; quizzes on India debates on various topics and speeches about the meaning of freedom. There were also fun activities for the students. The activities conducted were very competitive as they could improve the participation and involvement of the students. The celebration and the activities helped one to know more about the country and made every student be a proud citizen of India.
