Livelihood training
On the 1st of September 2022, we started livelihood training for the second batch of students which consisted of 37 trainees. The training is split across 10 weeks where-in each week focused on critical aspects to facilitate participants, build their employability skills, and equip them to sustain their jobs. The training also focuses on addressing healthy living practices and taught sports and holistic living approaches. The last two weeks focus on interview skills and mock interviews.
During the first week, students were introduced to the training program and primarily focused on the process of the training. The sessions addressed The Concept of ‘Learning to Employment’. A schedule was shared on the critical learning areas, especially focused on – communication skills, life skills, and computer skills.
All the trainees have been training very hard to gain good jobs and be independent.
