The fellowship was launched on 26th January 2021. The fellowship highlights the important role an HIV-positive youth can play in shaping the future of HIV interventions. Sneha Charitable Trust launched the fellowship, in collaboration with Bangalore School Sports Foundation and technical support from Teach for India. Fr. Baby, provincial and president of SCT, graced the occasion, with blessings and guidance. Mr. Nikhil and Ms. Neha felicitated the fellows. Mr. Elvis Joseph, BSSF, highlighted the importance of sports and promised to scale out the integration of sports into everyday life for children living with HIV, through the fellows. Fr. Mathew, highlighted the importance of partnerships, and Fr. Johnson, Director, Snehagram, highlighted the role mentors have played and shared their leadership will certainly facilitate in ensuring all the children are healthy and live a productive life. Fr. Joy, appreciated the fellows for the important decision they have taken in their lives and shared that each of us will support and facilitate a great learning and sharing space. As a technical support officer, I believe that the fellowship looks forward to building lives through creating a learning environment and leadership in the youth.
